After a year of isolation, people were ready to burst back into summer in 2021, beer and all. But coolers are heavy, right? Enter the Heineken B.O.T. (Beer Outdoor Transporter). Thanks to motion-sensor technology, simply say “Hey Heineken B.O.T., let’s roll,” and wherever you go, your cans of Heineken will follow. From the streets of New York City, to outdoor summer gatherings, and social feeds everywhere, more than 40 B.O.T.s made their way into lucky fans’ summer plans. It even made an appearance on Tinder for some thirsty matches.
The Heineken B.O.T. amassed over 700 media stories and 1.7 billion earned impressions, while off premise sales grew 12 percent vs. 2020.
